First off, let me address the whole Mitt Romney thing. I GREATLY dislike that man for many reasons. My main two reasons are:
1: He has flipped flopped on several issues, for example, the abortion issue (one very close to my heart since I am adopted AND since I have been trying to get pregnant for 9 months now). Did you all know that Romney used to be pro-choice? Yup it's true. He even voted for legislation that made abortion legal. Sounds like a great man huh? Killing innocent babies. Yeah... He will have to answer to God for that one. You want proof that he was pro-choice and then switched when he decided to run for president. I have it. Here:

Not only that it also shows his flip flops on lots of other things as well. Makes you really want to trust the guy huh?
2. He supports the Federal Reserve. The man is bought and paid for by Wallstreet, the SAME people who bought and paid for Obama in the 08 elections. That's right, you heard me. The same people. Here is a very informative video all about the Federal Reserve and Mitt Romney's support of it AND about his Wallstreet campaign contributors. I could NEVER do as well as this man at explaining all of it so I will let him do it.

Now I don't want to stick on that subject too much longer. Last thing I am going to say about it is that Romney is a wolf in Sheep's clothing. He does not in any way support the Constitution. He isn't going to uphold it. If you are LDS and you are reading this, take a moment to read D&C 101:77 and 109:54. That is what our Church says about the Constitution and how it should be protected. Mitt Romney isn't going to do that. He, like David said, for some reason was chosen to make our Church look bad. If you don't believe me now, you will in the future, especially if he is elected President.
Now, if Ron Paul doesn't get the bid and Romney does, I will vote for Romney, reluctantly, and the only reason I would is that Romney won't be able to do as much damage in his 1st term as Obama could in his 2nd. We then could have a chance to fix our mistake and actually vote for a man who will protect our rights. Ron Paul.
On to why I support Ron Paul.
1. He is a Constitutionalist. If you go to my facebook page and read what my Political Views are you will see that it says Conservative Constitutionalist and the definition of that is there as well. "The thoughts, questions, ideas and opinions of one who believes the problems facing the United States of America are not going to be solved by bigger government, higher taxes, increased spending and less freedom." That is what I am, that is what I will always be. That is the way our nation was intended to be. In the scriptures it says that as well (Remember those two scriptures from earlier?) Ron Paul has said that over and over again with no change for years. Unlike his opponent Mitt Romney who has a tendency to change his mind whenever he needs the people with the big bucks to back him.
2. His foreign policy. We have absolutely no right to be over in other countries telling them how to run their government when we can't even run our own the way it was meant to be! Seriously this makes me angry. Here we are in a war that from it's beginnings was illegal trying to make a change that will NEVER stick while our own freedoms are being taken away right under our noses. Our biggest threat are the people in OUR country who are in power who are taking away our liberties. Ron Paul's main concern is giving us our freedoms back. If another country made war against us, Ron Paul would react to what the PEOPLE wanted, not just go to war because he wants to. These wars are being used to distract us from our freedoms being taken away. George Washingtion had a similar stance on foreign policy
My policy has been, and will continue to be, while I have the honor to remain in the administration of the government, to be upon friendly terms with, but independent of, all the nations of the earth. To share in the broils of none. To fulfil our own engagements. To supply the wants, and be carriers for them all: Being thoroughly convinced that it is our policy and interest to do so. -George Washington
"... To be upon FRIENDLY terms with, but INDEPENDENT of, all nations of the earth. To share in the broils of none" What good will it do to police everyone? The best way to help fix other countries problems is by fixing our own and setting an example.
3. He will end the Fed. Like David said in his video. The fed was created to create debt. To control the people. Not only that, we are printing money that we have no gold or silver to back. This in turn is making the dollar worth less and less, making us poorer and poorer. Ron Paul wants us to have gold and silver backed currency. That way we won't be printing money that we can't back, our dollar will stop becoming worth less and we will have more money in our pockets.
4. He won't raise our taxes. Think back to the definition of a Constitutionalist. We believe that our nations problems won't be fixed by raising taxes. Ron Paul has always said that he won't raise taxes. He has never voted to raised taxes.
5. He has never voted to increase the pay of those in power. Our government officials are getting paid TOO much money. If they were to cut their pay, which is what Ron Paul intends to do, we could use that money for so much good here in our own country.
That is only the beginning of how I feel, but they are the main, important reasons that we need to consider. Our country is headed to becoming a socialist country. Ezra Taft Benson gave a talk in 1966 at BYU warning us that if we didn't start voting for those people that would uphold the constitution that we would become a socialist country. He met and spoke to a man who was a socialist and who told them that we Americans were fools, that we wouldn't accept socialism outright, but if they were to feed it to us little by little that we would accept it, and that is what is happening (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7LcplfkgY). If we vote for Romney, we will be making that warning come true. He will not uphold the Constitution, he will allow it to be disregarded and will allow our freedoms to be taken away and for us to be fed socialism little by little. We are so used to the lies we have been fed concerning foreign policy and many other things that we don't even realize anymore that we are being lied to. We just accept it as truth and that just can't happen anymore.
(A little side-note, yes, Romney is Mormon, but that doesn't mean he is a good man. Harry Reid is also a Mormon and far from supports the Church's beliefs and he definitely isn't a good man. Romney is hiding behind the LDS church. He is tricking all those who vote for him with his religion. He will make us ALL look bad. I promise. Open your eyes friends, stop being the little sheep that follows the rest of the group. Do some research and think for yourself!)

Judging Others: My problem with it
Hello! Welcome to my blog! Now that I'm a homemaker, I'm going a little crazy. All I do is clean and do laundry. Sometimes I get so bored I talk to myself, which is why I started this blog. When I talk to myself, I get some pretty interesting thought processes going on that I figure I should share with the world, so here it goes!
Today's Thought is on Judging others
I've come across people who say "oh the LDS people are so mean and they are all jerks who judge you and treat you like dirt if you don't agree with their beliefs" and continue to trash someones religion JUST because they had a bad experience with SOME of the people. They don't bother to look for people who AREN'T like that, instead they make videos, post blogs and address anyone who is LDS that they come in contact with about what a terrible person they are for being LDS.
Aren't they doing the EXACT SAME THING that someone else did to them? Judge you and treat you like dirt because you believe a certain way?
You know what else? There are people in EVERY religion like that. Even people who don't believe in religion are like that! And there is always someone to post a video, write in a blog or say to your face "you are wrong", " you are an idiot to believe that", "you are a jerk because you believe such and such and everyone who believes that are jerks"
Why is that?
I try my darndest not to be judgmental and to not look down on people for not believing what I do and by golly I think I do a pretty dang good job at it. I accept people, I like making friends with people of every race, religion, etc. I won't always agree with what you are doing or what you believe in, but that doesn't mean I don't care about you. I'm not the kind of person that says "oh what you are doing is wrong and you are going to hell because of it" If you REALLY want to inspire someone to believe and act like you, then you need to be kind, not judge, be a friend. No one is going to give a rats butt if you tell them they are wrong and going to hell! Instead that will make them think "oh this person is a jerk... I don't think I want anything to do with them or their beliefs"
I want to be kind to others because I am a Christian. Christ taught us to be kind to others. He told the Pharisees who brought the adulterer to him that whoever was without sin could "cast the first stone" Boy I tell ya, I'm not without sin. Even if you are an atheist and don't believe in God or Christ, we are all human beings and we all deserve respect, so lets try and treat people with it. Even if they don't give us the same courtesy.
